Newborns
are carried in a reclining position until they have achieve head control.
In this photo, the baby has been placed with her head on the same
side of the Maya Wrap Baby Sling as the rings. It is also possible
to wear your baby with the head on the other side of the Baby Sling. |

When nursing,
the tail of the Maya Wrap Baby Sling may be placed over your shoulder
to provide complete discretion. No other baby carrier can offer you
better coverage. It also serves as a great shield from summer rains
& the scorching sun. |

The
kangaroo carry is great for babies with head control who prefer
to sit up so they can see their world. You can carry your child in
a Maya Wrap Baby Sling sitting cross legged or seated with with his
feet coming out of the bottom of the Baby Sling. |

The
hip carry is an excellent way to help support the weight of
heavy children and is a nice transitional position for babies too
big for the kangaroo carry, and too young for the back carry. |

The
back carry position is my personal favorite for getting things
done around the house! Recommended for children 1 year of age and
older. |

A
harness is an excellent source of safety. A great way to secure
your infant in shopping carts with broken buckles, and also allows
your toddler to explore her surroundings more freely while staying
connected to you. |
