Has anyone else here ever used an ovulation scope? I have 1 and I am infertile, (due to breastfeeding, etc). but I didn't know..how accurate are these things? I mean, it correlates to what I know with cervical fluid, etc. but I didn't know if anyone had any experience.

mine showed ferning alot of the time so either it was not acurate or I had several fertile patches

I had one and never saw any ferning at all for the longest time, then saw some ferning that matched the "transitional" picture, and then saw some real good ferning a week later... then kept seeing some ferns here and there...

but it turns out that I was pregnant from before I started using it, like I'd gotten pregnant either immediately before or the first week I was using it. So I can tell you it's wacky while you're pregnant. Haha.

Amy, the same thing happened with me ... well, sorta ... I purchased one of those little microscope thingies from Walgreens and kept watching and and watching ... didn't seem to see any ferning but did see something that maybe, possibly matched the transition ferning ... and a very short time later I tested positive for my 5th pregnancy!!!! :blink:

That was last year ... my toddler ended up finding it and playing with it (like a flashlight) so I don't even know if I have both pieces now. <grumble grumble>
