So I decided to create my own T-Tapp challenge. I went to the web page and downloaded everything that was on the 'try it first' page. I even watched all the 'tip' videos. I took some pictures and measurements of myself for a 'before' reference. Then put exercise time in my schedule. I only fit it in three times a week. I have done some of the things on three occasions and have notice that I already feel different. I have not had time to do all the exercises I downloaded in one setting. However, I have especially noticed that the exercises listed for back pain have really helped me. I don't feel so tight and I am uncomfortable being slouched now. I work at a computer nearly all day, so this is really good.
I will let you all know how many inches I lose when I am done. I do not have far to go, as I am already fairly fit. And I am a total vegetarian (vegan), so I already have a very healthy diet (I am a plant based nutrition instructor). However many years ago (before becoming vegan) I was size 16 and around 180lbs at only 5'3". So this is more like "getting the final 5 lbs off" kind of thing.
My DH has said the program sounds like maybe something I could consider. That really surprised me because he has been in body building and done personal training. He usually says we have all we need, and don't need anything else. Most of the time he is absolutely right. I have done body building with him in the past, but I know I need something more and different. I am already quite strong, but I have a few things out of place; my spine (old injuries pull it out of place often) and bladder (prolapsed, probably due to constant heavy lifting).
I told my Mom about it and she is waiting to see if I recommend it for her. She said perhaps we could go in on it together. Sounds great except she is in TX & AZ most of the time and I am in WA. So we will see how the "try it" challenge goes first.
I am sharing this with you all to encourage you to do the same or similar. If we take proper care of ourselves, we will be able to take better care of our families. The Lord is so good to bring to our attention things that will benefit our lives. :_biggrin:
