Thanks for your thoughts Sombra. My DH is not too worried about his aftercare. I was his nurse for a partially amputated finger (that was not supposed to be restorable). We have two days of rest planned before we fly home, so we will have the icing needs down some beforehand. As far as taking something, I have herbals planned. Neither of us would ever think of alcohol, DH does not even want Tylenol, so natural all the way.
I found two health food stores in the area and will get all we need there when we arrive. That will make security check at the airport easier.
“my hubby found that sex really helped relieve the pain” Must have been the release of endorphins. I know it has relieved a headache or two for me. My DH is anxious to BD, however we will see. He waited awhile after the first surgery to be sure there would not be any problems with healing.
I have a plan for the traveling ice bags. I plan to use balloons. They are a good size and shape and besides the sandwich bags can leak. That is a bad place for a leak. Anyway we will be able to get ice while on the plane. But not take any on with us. Those gel ice packs are too large. There are so many restrictions on what you can take on the plane with you these days. Everything must be in 3oz packs or less. That is making packing an interesting adventure. I am working on how to pack our lunches. There is no meal served on the plane and we are not about to eat airport food. So I will have many little 3oz packs of food. They will probably laugh at me, but oh well.

Hello Dear Ladies,
I miss you. I just wanted to stop in and give an update.
Thank you all for your prayers.
The surgery went well (as could be expected). The examination of fluid found parts of sperm. Praise the Lord there was not evidence of any blowouts. So the 'prognosis' is very positive.
I had DH take some herbs for calming. The dr was so impressed at how he did, he wrote down what I gave him. My DH was very SORE, of course, but he never took anything for the pain. He has coped very well. I am giving him even more things than I did for his partially amputated finger. The Lord is blessing him through the herbs and food he is taking for for his recovery.
We also very much enjoyed our anniversary the day before surgery. We spent most of the day at a park. There were many little critters running around. There was a river that ran through the park, which brought a variety of wildlife. We rode on a little mini train all around the park. It was a nice day for us. We had a ball hand feeding raisins to some fox squirrels. Some of them did not know what to do with them, guess most people don't offer them raisins.
Anyway, thanks again for your prayers, I know the Lord Blessed.
