Hello Ladies,
I have been gone for a bit. I am trying to be more balanced with my time, but I peek in here once in a while.
Anyway, I wanted to let you know that we will officially start ttc next month. The Lord has given us direction on the timing.
We are so excited!

I was not going to get anything until after I was pregnant, but Mama came, and that was the end of that thought. :present:
Mama brought all of her 'fat' clothes from when she was much larger. So I now have a large selection of comfy nice clothes to wear probably throughout the pregnancy.
:_biggrin: She found a few infant outfits at garage sales that could not be passed up. She also found a nice pool. It is 10ft x 5ft by 18"h, I am not very big (5'3") so I think the height will be okay for me for my birthing pool. It has been nice to lay in it with the hot days we recently had. The most unexpected find at a garage sale (we like to go to garage sales :clear: ) was a basic emergency birth kit :w00t: . It has some pads, clamps, scapel, sucker and such, it is complete and still sealed up. I only paid $5.00 for it, the one on-line that is comparable is approx $25.00.

I started taking vitex a few months ago and I started taking prenatals about a month ago.
DH and I are working on habits to break and habits to make (by God's grace of course). We figured it would be better to make and get use to changes before the biggest change of all comes :inutero: .

So I am well on my way to getting ready. :cheer: :spudnikboogie:

Very cool and welcome back.. by the way, have you ever heard of soap nuts in your quest to go - no-poo? I bought the soapnuts shampoo.. a bit pricey for a family of 8, but I also read you can make it from boiling the soapnuts and making a reduction of the soap.

By the way, I had a baby of the blue persuasion.. read my UP journal..

That's great! It sounds like you are totally ready to conceive. I look forward to seeing your "I'm pregnant" announcement, and hey we just might be preggo together.

Welcome back!
Thanks pretty amazing about the birth kit ... was there a story behind it that the owners wanted to share? It just seems like such an odd find, huh?

((( praying ))) that you are able to conceive and announce that new life here soon.

There really is no special story on getting the birth kit. This was at an estate sale and the couple had been running a little mom and pop business called Cover Yur Basics. They had all kinds of emergency things available as well as a second hand store. The husband passed away and the wife is liquidating the business and moving on with her life (very well I might add, the Lord is blessing her).

Thank You ladies for your warm welcome back
By the way I must admit to peeking in here quite a bit lately. I have read all the new birth stories-Congratulations!! I just get so excited reading birth stories that I can hardly concentrate on anything else!

I have also read about soap nuts and am researching what it takes to grow one of those trees. :book:
Glad to be back. :corkysm60:
