It has come to my attention that a problem is growing. It's not due to any one person or situation (so don't feel singled out if it happens to apply to you), but the sum of it does add up to a problem.
CUC mods have the ability to edit and/or delete posts as necessary, where necessary means it infringes copyright, it is flaming in nature or otherwise unacceptable for the support environment which this site attempts to foster while providing UC and other natural parenting info. NOTE: Necessary does not mean that you changed your mind and want a post, several posts, your entire membership, or anything else removed. So please, don't ask.
The moderators here are asked to foster a supportive environment by welcoming new people, stimulating conversation where necessary, and perform general housekeeping according to what I've asked of them. I remain ever-mindful that every one of them is as busy as anyone else, and I seek not to over-burden them.
I hope you, as beneficiaries of their support, will extend that courtesy to them as well. They have kids at home they have to constantly clean up after, they don't have time to clean up after everyone here. Because of their giving nature as moms, they will sometimes sacrifice their families to meet another perceived need here. I hope everyone agrees: That can't be.
Therefore it is expected that everyone here already knows this is a public internet website and forum, will remember that when they sign up, and be mindful of themselves as mature, chaste women when they post. Because even if cleaning up after everyone was all we had to do: once it's on the internet it never truly goes away. Be careful that you're ready to live with that before you hit "post".
Thanks to my mods and also all of the members for all working together to make this a supportive place for everyone involved: mods, members, and visitors alike.
