Please pray for this little one my cervix is low with softness, fullness... crampy and some minimal dark spotting... a week and a half ago I had a several day bleed with bright 'thinner' blood, little to no tissue threads showing from my observation. I reads today that moms of many may have a 2cm opening but was confused if that would be so in earliest part of pregnancy.
I shall read some more.
I might go have my blood taken, not sure yet.

I am going into pampering mode for sure and considering looking into a midwife I heard of north of us an hour or so...
I feel I need to find someone that won't get uptight about my UC'ing the last two babies. I intend to UC again but would be blessed to establish some support for needs that arise. I have a contact number so that is a start.

Yesterday I tried calling an old ob... ha, ha they didn't answer their phone so I decided to call twenty mins later
My phone decided to turn to static and will not call out or in
So I am asking myself am I just not to seek attention or am I to just go onto the emergencey room to ask for bloodwork so I can have answers about my levels on monday and by tues take the second bloodwork I would like to do the progesterone cream but am not sure if I should take that without knowing for sure that I have low levels, or if there is a heart beat.I would hate to delay a miscarriage that has already happened yk.
Heartbeat... there should be one I took a good look at dates and I think I got it right ( the stage the pregnancy is in)
I have stayed clear of ultra sounds for two pregnancies now ( 4 years) because I read documentation of how high and powerful the waves are... and those cases that moms bled and lost babies directly after ultra sound ( having had no other signs of trouble)
So now I am asking myself do I want to get an Ultra sound?
If I go to local hospital they won't do an ultra sound there they will just set an appointment but they will probably do the blood draw and get that moving... which wouldn't be a bad idea.
If I go to the big hospital an hour away they will probably want to do everything...
If my cervix is touchy I don't want to disrupt it. Yet they will only be able to do the 'wand' ultra sound at this stage.
Also the last doctor I went to is AWFUL I would really only have her as a local reference if asked who my doctor is or I could just say I would like to establish a new one and hope for better. There is supposed to be a new one taking patients at the big hospital...
I am still spotting some ( not a lot)pink and brown. Feeling heavy and slightly crampy. I am also bloaty and forcing the fluids.
I am communicating with my husband but he doesn't seem to know what to do either.
Maybe, he'll wake to a clear answer.

I would think that shows the drop in normal progesterone.
I have never had a doctor willing to consider having me take the progesterone supplements
when I was suspecting miscarriage and HCG levels were low. They all said that if HCG was low
then miscarriage already happened...
So if I go for testing I will be specific about what tests I want
-to make sure they include the progesterone levels.
I want to take this in consideration excerpt from an article
"Studies that look at miscarriage have shown that the level of hCG, which is responsible for progesterone production, always falls before the level of progesterone does. That indicates that a dropping progesterone level is a result of the failing pregnancy, not the cause. In fact, I have had patients who have successfully carried pregnancies with progesterone levels as low as 2ng/ml due to an enzyme block. Their very low level did not cause them to miscarry. Another issue is that giving hCG can sometimes stimulate progesterone levels. Some studies have shown a benefit giving hCG; others have not. Again, this suggests that a low level of hCG from the placenta is a sign of a failing pregnancy, not the cause."

As feared the baby wasn't to stay with us please pray for my health I have never had a miscarriage that went 'badly' my body has usually been able to expel all and complete all renewal.
I am just thankful to know that we had a blessing.
Please pray for my husband he is discouraged all around " We've been going through this for ten years!" I know it is just a passing emotion but all the same he hasn't been very supportive because he is 'tired' of the ups and downs of our fertility experience/ and the work of pregnancies.
This is our fourth little one known to have gone on before us. I just named him/ her Blessing.
I likely will use the progesterone cream this next cycle. Thankful to have had more info about it and how to use it -the links were great Thank you all.

I have estimated that baby would be at 4 weeks gestation.
Angry because the nurse said they would be doing the progesterone testing too. I confirmed the request a couple of times including when the lab tech said "so we are doing a pregnancy test, right?"
I said well I know I am/ was preg. I've taken 4 tests but I requested the hcg levels and progesterone levels...and confirmed my request with the nurse.
Today the nurse... says to me here are your hcg levels... and I said okay how about the progesterone. Well, Dr. Watson doesn't do those.period Roll Eyes
They already told me they won't do ultra sounds until 6-8 week even if there is bleeding issues.
I said what about progesterone therapies for those that have had miscarriages from low progesterone? Well you'd have to go to an OB. Angry
I could have done that if they would have been upfront with me and told me Angry
SO the 'attitude' that I got from her in the past experience is prevailing. If a little one doesn't make it that early then they are just not meant to.
I guess I will have to go to an OB for progesterone levels after the miscarriage is complete.
I would like to go on the progesterone therapy before I conceive again.
( in a week if I think I am still pregnant I'll have to go too, I would like to get an ultra-sound)
I am still reluctant to go on the progesterone cream on my own when it looks like I have already lost the baby. I don't want to make the healing take longer.
http://www.americanp...development.htm
Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) levels can have quite a bit of variance at this point. Anything from 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml is considered normal at 5 weeks. Once the levels have reached at least 2000, some type of development is expected to be seen in the uterus using high resolution vaginal ultrasound. If using a transabdominal ultrasound, some type of development should be seen when the hCG level has reached 3600 mIU/ml. Although development may be seen earlier, these levels provide a guide of when something is expected to be seen. Guideline to hCG levels during pregnancy:
hCG levels in weeks from LMP (gestational age)* :
* 3 weeks LMP: 5 - 50 mIU/ml
* 4 weeks LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml
* 5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
* 6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml
* 7 - 8 weeks LMP: 7,650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
* 9 - 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml
* 13 - 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml
* 17 - 24 weeks LMP: 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml
* 25 - 40 weeks LMP: 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
* Non-pregnant females: <5.0 mIU/ml
* Postmenopausal: <9.5 mIU/ml
**** Has anyone not seen numbers double in 48 hours? and still had a pregnancy continue?
