I am considering getting an Ergo always wanted one... have used more home made slings and pouches...
The fact that my 17mo is going through a clingy stage is making me wonder should I go ahead and make that purchase. Holding/ carrying him on a hip is really hard at this point! Putting him in an Ergo would def. distribute weight better!

Any experiences with carrying an older infant after 21 weeks in pregnancy...?

Yeah, I did that with Hannah when I did errands (she didn't walk until right about the time Sam was born). She was on my back, counterbalancing Sam in the front (pg) :)

I love my Ergo, but Sam liked the mei tai (I'm never sure if I"m spelling the baby carrier or the drink) better- similar and you can make it yourself if you sew at all :) There are instructions online

My husband found the jogger stroller I wanted on ebay... for a great price!

I chose a one seater so I could ask for an ergo too!

SO he ordered the stroller for Mothers Day and I got him to let me make plans to get the ergo for his Fathers Day gift!

Then when we go walking/ exploring HE can have something to accommodate one of the little kids!

Funny thing is we'd ordered the stroller weeks ago from wal mart and something buggy happened and the order didn't go through. We just saved like 35.00 getting it from another source. How cool is that?

The Ergo pricing I found has WITH the infant insert and is only 114.00 that would be a savings of about 20.00.

Thankful for being provided for!

Yay!

Darin will wear one in the Ergo now, but he likes frame back packs better. I like the Ergo better. You can check garage sales for frame back packs too, if you want- we just borrowed one. I got my stroller off of ebay as well :) I love it - I keep it in the back of my truck and we use it just about every day. Mine's double :)

I feel silly sometimes having all these contraptions, but it's really nice to have something for different situations. It makes it a much nicer experience for the family when everyone's comfortable.
