Been having contractions for the past 5 hours. Getting more regular for the past 2 hours.
I am so thankful and praying this goes all the way so they do not have the chance to induce me. Currently 5 mins apart, lasting about 40 seconds. Gonna wake hubby if they continue for another 30 mins then likely heading down the road for the 1 hour trip to be close to the hospital.

Sorry for the delay in posting an update. Thank you for the prayers.
The contractions died down around 3am Thursday. I thought I was leaking fluid and had an appt that morning already scheduled.
I was 2cm and 50% scattered ctx. BUT baby did not look good on the NST or the ultrasound. Breathing movements noted but not the other movements needed.
The plan was recheck in few hours if progressing stay at hospital, if no labor that day return the following morning for an induction. My doctors words "I know this is not what you want (referring to induction) but I truely believe that the baby is telling us he is not tolerating this any longer."
We got to the hospital about 7am Friday Aug 27th. At 8am I was 3 cm 50% and still not contracting except sporatically. The baby was a bit to high to allow the doctor to rupture my membranes so the only option for induction at that time was Pitocin- my worst fear behind c-section.
At 820 the pitocin started. At 11am I was having regular contractions and doing good working thru them. I was up moving all over the place in a variety of ways. I was 4cm and the doctor ruptured my membranes. Nice clear fluid, baby doing well so far except being a bit hard to maintain heart monitoring on.
At 1230 I was texting inbetween contractions and my husband had just came back from a little break to get food. I had several times of blood sugar being low. 40's and 60's. Treated with juice and it would come back up.
At 1pm I was really having a harder time getting thru the peak of each contraction and they were 3 mins apart. By I guess about 2 pm I was yelling a bit and if my ctx were not so close together I would have wanted to give in and get an epidural (one of my goals was no drugs at all). But I knew there was no way I could set still long enough and also knew it would be over soon.
Between 2ish and the end I could not find any position or tool we learned to help me get thru the contractions. I told my husband and the nurse I wanted to be knocked out. I thought I was on the verge of dying. I am not sure if it is just me, I thought I had a high pain tolerance... or if it was the effects of Pitocin. At the peak of many contractions I would have easily agreed to general anesthesia and a c-section.
At 3:56pm on Friday the 27th Hayden Matthew was born after pushing thru about 4 contractions. He weighed 9lbs 6oz and 20.5 inches long.
Unlike my other 2 kids he is not a toe-head. He actually has a small bit of dark brown-black hair.
He nursed great for about 25 mins after a little trouble getting him to pink up after birth. At just over 1 hour old his blood sugar was 24 (very low shoudl be about 60 or higher). He was symptomatic, I had noticed that he seems floppy or limp. I gave him some formula and they had to take him to the nursery to monitor him. I had also noted the same "wet" sounds in him that I had noticed in my Isaac.
I was expecting him to be done his monitoring around 7pm but instead got a visit from the pediatrician at 630. Appears he is actually 37 weeks not 39 as we thought. His blood sugar was doing better but still watching it hourly a few more times. And in the time he had been there he started having fast breathing and trouble keeping his oxygen level up.
Fast forward to today, he is just about to turn 48hours old.... He is in special care nursery on oxygen and IV. He has pneumonia (my second child had the exact same troubles wiwth lungs that started showing signs at 8 hours old). He will need a weeks worth of antibiotic therapy- so is the plan at this point. He can not eat because he is working so hard to breath and with the type of oxygen they are using we can not stop it to hold him. So as of now I have not held him for about 43 hours. My arms and heart are aching as you can imagine.
The Lord is blessing him with an already improved chest x-ray and he is working less to breath, just still too fast and can only keep his oxygen level up with the help of the oxygen hood. The doctors and nurses have been so compassionate and loving to him and us.
Prayers for his healing and strength for our family. We live an hour away and daddy is home trying to be mommy and daddy there and be a long distance husband and daddy here or and to work 40 hours a week in addition. He is my hero.
God is so good! This is not anything like I wanted or wished for but I am trusting it is perfect for us and one day I may see or understand why.
